Implementation of eAIP Package in Rwanda
This AIC A 02/24 is promulgated for information, guidance and necessary action.

In order to enhance the capabilities of the AIP such as fast search, hyper links, ease of browsing, ease of access and dynamic presentation of the changes in text and graphics as required by ICAO in the transition from AIS to AIM, Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority (RCAA) has implemented the electronic AIP.
The initial eAIP of Rwanda is published on 14th December 2023 and subscribers should expect to obtain the eAIP in three formats: XML, HTML (for browsing) and Portable Document Format (PDF) (for printing). The eAIP will be available online
(web), on CD ROM and paper to subscribers depending on their preferred format. There will be 42 days in advance before the information becomes effective for operational use on 25th January 2024 in line with the AIRAC schedule of the year 2024 and can be accessed through ( https://rac.co.rw/eAIP%20Rwanda/default.html)
During the period of validity of the subscription, any amendments will be announced by a Trigger NOTAM, subscribers will also be notified by email and the amendment will reflect on eAIP online.
As a matter of automation, Rwanda has also implemented Online Flight Planning and Web Briefing that can be accessed on ( http://cronos.rac.co.rw/cronos-portal/#!/auth/login )
The following instructions shall be followed to access the online version of the eAIP.
1. Click the publication date of the currently effective issue. From there, you can browse and navigate into the eAIP Products consisting of valid AMDTs, SUPs and AICs.
2. To view a pdf copy of any section opened in html, click the pdf icon on the top left corner of the webpage.
